When was the last time you made something out of nothing?

A big deal perhaps?

Mountain out of a molehill?

Perhaps a spontaneous poem for the one you love? (Roses are red, violets are blue, you wanna go to bed? I'll give you swine flu'...)

How about a painting? Short story? Piece of clothing? Film script? Food from scrap? Essay on a topic? A beautiful turn of phrase?

What's the fuss? These things are normal aren't they? Doesn't everyone want to create something from nothing?

I wonder what happens when we don't create? Do our minds turn to destruction? Perhaps creation and destruction are normal activities for the frail humanity of which we are a part?

Have you noticed that there are 19 questions in this post? And only one sentence ending in a full stop. Do you have more questions than answers?

PS, does blogging make you feel like a wanker?
